Shamanism is the most powerful way to begin the inner process of becoming responsible for our own reality. Our survival as a planet depends on this awakening of consciousness. To live an authentic and happy life is a process ... it is not accomplished in one seminar or by reading a book, but through daily integration and practice. The path is open to those who wish to walk it.

Students are introduced to methods of the shaman to enter non-ordinary reality for problem solving and healing. Particular emphasis on the classic shamanic journey, one of the most remarkable visionary methods used by humankind to explore the hidden universe otherwise known through myth and dream.

Students are initiated into shamanic journeying aided by drumming and other techniques for experiencing shamanic states of consciousness and for awakening dormant spiritual abilities including connections with Nature.

Practice includes discoveries in shamanic journeys, introduction to shamanic healing, methods of journeying to meet and study with your individual spirit helpers in non-ordinary reality, learning how the journey is utilized to restore spiritual power and health and how shamanism can be applied to modern day life to help heal oneself, others and the planet.

Classes meet one weekend each month for eight months (excluding July) beginning in June 2010. Locations may vary. Upon completion of all eight meetings, students receive Medicine Path Initiation. Please call or email for your application packet.
